The history of Automobiles dates all the way back to Leonardo da Vinci in the 15th century. Today, you can find cars in all kinds of styles and designs. Early accounts credit German inventor Karl Benz with the invention of the first true automobile in 1885/1886, but our knowledge of how it was invented continues to change.

Henry Ford

Henry Ford was a farmer from Michigan who took a great interest in automobiles in the late 1800s. In order to create an inexpensive vehicle, he developed the assembly line. The assembly line connected workers and machinery in a pattern, which created uniform automobile parts. In June 1896, Ford built his first automobile, the Model A. This was the first mass-produced automobile in the United States, and it changed the course of transportation.

Karl Benz

The Karl Benz Automobiles Museum is a must-see destination for anyone interested in the history of cars. It features exhibits that go back as far as the horse carriage and the first automobile. The museum also highlights the evolution of tires. Daimler automobiles are another important part of automotive history. Founded in 1926, they are now one of the leading car manufacturers in the world. Their headquarters is in Stuttgart, Baden-Wurtemberg, Germany.

Daimler-Maybach

Daimler-Maybach automobiles are part of the Mercedes-Benz company and have a long and distinguished history. Founded in 1909 by Wilhelm and his son Karl Maybach, the company was originally a division of the Luftschiffbau Zeppelin GmbH. The company was later renamed Daimler-Maybach Automobiles in 1999.

Mercedes-Benz

Mercedes-Benz automobiles are luxury vehicles manufactured by Mercedes-Benz AG, a German automobile company. The company is headquartered in Stuttgart, Baden-W├╝rttemberg, and sells commercial vehicles and luxury cars.

Oldsmobile

Oldsmobile has a long history of innovation and reliability. They were the first car company to use an automatic transmission, a feature that is now common in many vehicles. The company was also one of the first to use the Hydra-Matic transmission. This transmission was a huge breakthrough for the company and helped make their vehicles much more appealing. Unfortunately, there have been some problems with Oldsmobile vehicles. The company has also been plagued by unforeseen events, including a fire that destroyed a plant in Michigan. However, the workers were able to save a prototype of an Oldsmobile with a curved dash.
